Purpose of processing

LAS Wojciech Kuczyński processes the personal data of the Service Users for the purpose of proper performance of contracts concluded as part of the on-line shop through the service: www.las.sklep.pl (hereinafter referred to as “Service”), which means that the data are necessary in particular for:

– registering on the Website

– entering into an agreement

– making settlements

– delivery of the goods ordered by the User

– exercising all consumer rights by the User (e.g. withdrawal from the agreement, warranty, complaint, exchange).

If you have given your consent to receive information on new products and promotions, LAS Wojciech Kuczyński processes your data in order to send you its own commercial information concerning, for example, current trends, promotions or sales.

Type of data

LAS Wojciech Kuczyński processes the following personal data which is necessary to:

2. Making purchases on the Website:

– PESEL (in the case of an invoice request)

– NIP (in the case of an invoice request by the entrepreneur)

4. In the case of withdrawal from the contract or recognition of the complaint, when the refund is made directly to the User’s bank account, please provide the account number in order to make the refund.

Legal basis for processing

Your personal data is processed in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016.

We process your personal data with your consent, expressed when you register on the Website and when you confirm a transaction made on the Website.

Giving your consent to the processing of your personal data is entirely voluntary, however, lack of consent prevents you from registering with the Service and making purchases through the Service.

You have the following rights in relation to our processing of your personal data:

1. You may withdraw your consent at any time without giving reasons. The request may relate to the indicated purpose of processing, e.g. withdrawal of consent to receive commercial information, but may also relate to all purposes of processing. Withdrawal of consent in respect of all purposes of processing will result in the deletion of the User’s account on the Website and your data will not be processed. The withdrawal of consent will not affect the activities carried out to date.

2. You may request the deletion of your data at any time – without giving reasons. The request to delete the data will not affect the activities performed so far. Deletion of data means that your account on the Website will be deleted and your data will not be processed by us.

3. You may at any time object to the processing of your data, either in its entirety or for the stated purpose. The objection will not affect the activities already carried out. If you raise an objection, your account on the Website will be deleted and your data will not be processed by us.

4. You may request the amendment or rectification of your personal data at any time.

5. You may at any time request information from us about the extent of the processing of your personal data.

We are obliged to inform you, no later than one month after receipt of each request, of the action we have taken.

Duration of storage of personal data

We store your personal data until you delete your account on the Website. Deletion of your account may take place upon request, but also in the event that you withdraw your consent to data processing, object to the processing of your personal data or request its deletion.

Only archival information on concluded transactions, the storage of which is connected, for instance, with claims to which you are entitled, e.g. under warranty, and also in connection with legal regulations binding on us, shall remain in our systems.

LAS Wojciech Kuczyński may entrust the processing of personal data to entities cooperating with LAS Wojciech Kuczyński to the extent necessary for the completion of the transaction – i.e., for example, for the preparation of the ordered goods and delivery of shipments or transmission of commercial information from LAS Wojciech Kuczyński.

Personal data of Users, apart from the purposes specified in this Privacy Policy, shall not be disclosed in any way to third parties, and in particular shall not be transferred to other entities for the purpose of sending third-party marketing materials.

Personal data of Service Users are not transferred outside the European Union.

You have the opportunity to subscribe to our newsletter by providing your email address or telephone number and agreeing to the processing of your personal data for the purpose of sending commercial and marketing information by email or SMS. By means of the newsletter and SMS messages we inform you about our latest offers (for example news, promotions or sales). Notification of product availability

On your request LAS Wojciech Kuczyński will send you information about availability of the products indicated by you by e-mail. As a condition for us to send you such information, you must consent to the receipt at your e-mail address of commercial information about the products of the online shop and to the processing of your personal data by LAS Wojciech Kuczyński. Providing your data is voluntary, however, lack of consent to process your personal data makes it impossible to send you information about product availability.

Data protection declaration on Google Analytics

Our websites use the analytics mechanisms of the web services of Google Inc. Information on LAS profile on social networking sites

LAS Wojciech Kuczynski has profiles on social networks: Facebook, Instagram, (hereinafter “social networks”), on which he publishes product-related news. The administrators of the social networks record the behaviour of their users on their own using cookies and other, similar technologies, including with each interaction with LAS profiles. The full scope and purposes of the processing of personal data on social networks are determined by their administrators.

LAS Wojciech Kuczyński, as the entity which maintains the profiles, has access to general statistics, generated by the administrators of the social networks, concerning the interests and demographic data (such as age, gender, region) of users visiting LAS profiles. LAS Wojciech Kuczyński, as the entity running the profiles, is responsible for the content posted therein, as well as for communication with the users of social networking sites – within the framework of these profiles.

Facebook and Instagram are administered by Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Facebook”).

By means of the maintained profiles, LAS Wojciech Kuczyński gathers data of the users of social networking sites who visit LAS’ profiles, related to the communication conducted, the content posted and information published by the users themselves, including in private messages. If a user has an account on a given social networking site, LAS Wojciech Kuczyński has access to the information set as public by a user, on the same principles as other users of a given site.

When a user visits a profile, the social network administrator uses cookies and other similar technologies to monitor the user’s behaviour and actions. This information is collected, among other things, for the purpose of compiling so-called site statistics. The statistics contain only anonymised statistical data about users visiting the profile and it is not possible to link them to a specific person. LAS Wojciech Kuczyński does not have access to personal data used by social networking services for the purposes of preparing, among others, the website statistics.

We ship our knives to Poland and to most European Union countries. The shipment is carried out by courier companies. The parcel can be delivered personally by courier or to a parcel machine of your choice. The fee for delivery is 15 PLN (courier and Inpost parcel machines).

For orders to Poland over 600 PLN shipping is free.

In case of sending knives available from stock without personalisation, they are sent within 48 hours from receiving payment. Usually the dispatch takes place on the next working day.

We will inform you by e-mail about the dispatch time for custom-made knives and knives available, in which a personalization engraving has been ordered. However, this time should not exceed 4 weeks.

In the case of knives ordered from the “off-the-shelf” range, without personalisation engraving, it is possible to withdraw from a distance contract. In this case, please inform us by e-mail and make a written statement. The Buyer has the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days from the date of delivery, and then within 14 days to send back at his own expense, unused, properly protected goods in their original packaging.

Personalised and custom-made knives are not subject to the right of return or withdrawal from a distance contract.
